Parents Evening March 2007

Venue: NEW BANKERS CLUB, Stephen Street Upper, Dublin 8

Parent’s evenings are informal occasions that allow parents of children born with cleft to meet and share experiences. It can be encouraging for parents to meet with other parents who have children of the same age or a little older. It is also good to share tips with parents who have younger children. The evening is not geared for children as such, but newborns are more than welcome – we know that getting babysitters in the early days is not always possible. We look forward to seeing you over a cup of tea!
All you have to do is turn up on Wednesday 7th March 2007 at 8pm!
Bankers’ Club is a new building located at the junction of Golden Lane, Longford Street and Stephen Street Upper.

New Graduate Nursing Programme

For some years CLAPAI has been invited by Our Ladies Hospital for Sick Children and Children’s University Hospital to lecture as part of their postgraduate paediatric nursing programmes. The talks given have concentrated on a parent’s experience – medical, emotional, practical. A number of volunteers have shared their experiences – each person with a different story. The feedback from students has always been positive.

This year, a new combined programme comes into affect. The programme is being run from UCD. The Association are delighted that CLAPAI is very much a part of the programme going forward even though the course duration has been reduced from 18months to 12 months. The first lecture of the new programme will be given in January.

Fruitcakes, pilule cream cakes, viagra 60mg scones, medications biscuits, tarts and fabulous brown bread were part of a fantastic spread. The Saturday http://onlinepharmacies247.com sale raised an incredible €1,300 for the Association.
